Gym etiquette 101, back to basics

Just some thoughts on the gym for today.....

Many people incorporate exercise in their daily routines. A majority of those who exercise daily own gym memberships, and a good portion of those individuals with gym memberships don’t even know about proper gym etiquette.

As kids, we grow up with rules. There are house rules, school rules, rules in sports and religion. The gym is no different; the rules are unwritten, but clearly common sense. Most gym goers feel that they’re in their own little world when exercising, and that’s okay, but at the same time it’s no excuse to lose all self-control. Keep in mind you’re sharing a small space with other people and they deserve just as much respect as you do.

  1. Don't do curls in the squat racks!

  2. I hate when people are on a machine and more focused on their cell phone then doing an exercise.
